However bizarrely a speedtest app on my phone shows speed up to 70Mbps but everything else is slow (Facebook,ESPN,CNN,Netflix etc) On my phone it is also very slow using a browser or any apps that download from the internet. On the rare occasion that I could get to a speedtest site it slow speeds well below 1Mbps. In the current period I went over 50GB a few days ago and have noticed since yesterday that my data speed with tethering or hotspot is extremely slow. We have a grandfathered Simple Choice North America plan with 2GB / month but I could use data well above 2GBĮven when I went over 50GB in a month the speed was still fine.
